Privacy
The short version: this is a static site with no accounts, no forms, and no borrower data. We do not know who you are and we have not built any way to find out.
What we do not collect
- No forms, anywhere. There is no field on this site to type into — no name, no email, no income, no property, no loan amount. This is deliberate: collecting a prospective borrower's details is the line between publishing and brokering, and we stay on the publishing side of it.
- No accounts and no logins.
- No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this site, and no ad network script runs on it today. If display advertising is added later, this page will be updated before it goes live, not after.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, because there is none to sell or share.
What happens technically
- Pages are served as static files by our hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) for security and operations. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
- Heading type is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. That request is subject to Google's own privacy policy. It is the only third-party request a page makes on load.
- When you click an outbound link — to a lender, a platform, or a government page — you are on their site under their policy. Affiliate links may pass a tracking identifier to that company so they can attribute the visit to us. That identifier says the visit came from lender.nyc; it does not carry anything about you, because we have nothing about you.
If you email us — a correction, an advertising enquiry, a question — we have whatever you chose to put in that email, and we use it to reply. We do not add you to anything you did not ask to be added to, and we do not pass your message to any lender.
Changes
If this changes materially — an analytics tool, an ad network, an email list — this page changes first and says what changed. Questions: hello@lender.nyc.
