Advertising and affiliate disclosure

lender.nyc is free to read and paid for by advertising. There are exactly two revenue sources, and both are labeled wherever they appear. This page describes them in full, including the things we have decided not to do.

1. Affiliate links

Some pages link out to national lending platforms and marketplaces. Where we have an affiliate relationship, we may be paid a commission if you go on to open an account or a loan with that company. It never costs you more than going there directly.

Our rules for these, without exception:

Companies we link to or are enrolling with: Kiavi, Lima One Capital, OfferMarket, Lendio, National Funding, SoFi, LendingClub, Upstart, Credible. Program details last reviewed 2026-08-19. As of that date no affiliate program has been signed and no tracking identifier on this site is live — the links carry clearly marked placeholders.

2. Featured directory placements

Lenders can pay a flat advertising fee to be featured in our directory. That fee buys one thing: position. The listing sorts to the top of its section and carries a persistent Featured — Advertisement label everywhere it appears.

The commercial terms are on the advertise page.

What we do not do

Reader first, honestly

The reason to be this specific is simple: on a subject where a single wrong number costs someone thousands of dollars at a closing table, being trusted is the entire product. If a page ever reads as though the money wrote it, that page is broken — tell us at hello@lender.nyc and we will fix it.
